1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website taxiservicesinmangalore.com and/or booking any services from Sujatha Tours & Travels ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Offered

Sujatha Tours & Travels provides the following transportation and travel services in Mangalore and across Karnataka:

  • Local and outstation taxi/cab rentals (sedan, SUV, MUV).
  • Airport pickup and drop services (Mangalore International Airport — IXE).
  • Temple tour packages (Dharmasthala, Kukke, Udupi, Kollur, Murudeshwar, etc.).
  • Wedding and event transport (decorated cars, guest buses, fleet coordination).
  • Corporate travel and employee commute solutions.
  • Tempo traveller and bus hire (12 to 50 seater) for groups.
  • Luxury car rentals (Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi).

Vehicle availability is subject to booking date, fleet capacity, and seasonal demand.

3. Booking & Confirmation

  • Bookings can be made via our website contact form, WhatsApp (+91 93538 04025), or phone call.
  • A booking is confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation (via WhatsApp, SMS, or email) from our team with trip details and driver assignment.
  • We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking if the requested vehicle is unavailable, or if the booking details are incomplete or inaccurate.
  • For high-demand periods (festivals, holidays, wedding season), we recommend booking at least 48-72 hours in advance.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All fares quoted are indicative and may vary based on distance, route, vehicle type, trip duration, and applicable toll/parking charges.
  • Final billing is based on actual kilometres travelled and/or agreed package terms.
  • Toll charges, state permit fees, parking fees, and driver allowances (for outstation trips) are borne by the customer unless included in the quoted package.
  • Payment can be made via cash, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS), or online payment through our website.
  • For outstation and multi-day bookings, an advance payment may be required at the time of confirmation.
  • GST will be applicable as per Government of India norms.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Free cancellation: Bookings cancelled more than 12 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund of any advance paid.
  • Late cancellation: Cancellations made within 12 hours of the pickup time may incur a cancellation charge of up to 25% of the booking value.
  • No-show: If the customer is not available at the pickup location and does not respond within 30 minutes of the scheduled time, the booking will be treated as a no-show and the full advance amount may be forfeited.
  • Refund processing: Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days via the original payment method.
  • We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, road closures, vehicle breakdowns). In such cases, a full refund or alternative arrangement will be provided.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

  • Passengers must provide accurate pickup/drop locations, travel dates, and contact details at the time of booking.
  • Passengers must carry valid photo ID (Aadhaar, Driving Licence, Passport, or Voter ID) during the trip, especially for outstation travel and hotel check-ins.
  • Consumption of alcohol, smoking, or use of any illegal substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
  • Any damage caused to the vehicle by the passenger(s) during the trip will be the passenger's financial responsibility.
  • Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. Sujatha Tours & Travels is not liable for loss, theft, or damage of personal items left in the vehicle.
  • Passenger count must not exceed the vehicle's seating capacity as per RTO regulations.

7. Driver & Vehicle Guidelines

  • All our drivers hold valid commercial driving licences issued by the RTO and are experienced in local and outstation routes.
  • Vehicles are regularly serviced, insured, and comply with all RTO and transport department regulations.
  • For outstation and multi-day trips, driver rest/night halt is mandatory between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM for safety reasons. Night driving charges may apply for exceptions.
  • The assigned vehicle type may be changed to an equivalent or higher category in case of operational requirements, with prior intimation to the customer.

8. Route & Itinerary Changes

  • Any changes to the agreed route, additional stops, or itinerary modifications during the trip may result in additional charges based on extra distance/time.
  • For tour packages, the itinerary is indicative. Actual visit times may vary depending on traffic, weather, and temple/site timings.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, road conditions, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Sujatha Tours & Travels provides transportation services only. We are not responsible for any activities, accommodation, sightseeing, or dining at destinations unless explicitly part of a booked tour package.
  • Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid for that specific booking.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
  • In case of a vehicle breakdown during a trip, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative vehicle. Delays arising from such situations are not grounds for a full refund.

10. Insurance

All vehicles operated by Sujatha Tours & Travels carry valid insurance as mandated by the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. Passengers are covered under the vehicle's third-party liability insurance. For additional personal accident coverage, passengers are advised to arrange their own travel insurance.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design — is the property of Sujatha Tours & Travels and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999 of India. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of any content is prohibited.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mangalore (Mangaluru), Karnataka, India. We encourage customers to first reach out to us directly to resolve any issues amicably before initiating legal proceedings.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Continued use of our website or services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
